Ultron Lift

We enlisted Effective Solutions Group to address our late deliveries and manufacturing inefficiencies. After Effective Solutions performed an assessment they convinced management that the initial focus should be on a material inventory and replenishment system. I was skeptical at first on the “Lean Philosophy” that ESG was proposing but it became readily apparent that their manufacturing experience, business and financial expertise along with their “hands on” approach was definitely the way to go. Thanks to Effective Solutions Group, things improved rapidly within 6 months our inventory was reduced by $1.5 million, parts shortages were virtually eliminated, deliveries to promises exceeds 95% and lead time was reduced to 5 days vs. 3 weeks from a year ago. Dancing Deer

Dancing Deer was fast approaching the holiday season, which means high customer demand and short lead times. We recognized that a seasonal work force, manufacturing inefficiencies and a congested layout would be the company’s demise. Effective Solutions group was enlisted to join our organization as interim Plant Manager throughout the season. By developing standardized line layouts, production rates and staffing requirements we were able not only meet the customer demand but also at the same time have one of the company’s most profitable Fulfillment Seasons. Seasonal labor was reduced by 75%, on time delivery was at an all time high of 98%, floor space reduced by 55% and established a 30 man team to handle all non-seasonal work in an eight hour shift.

Karen & Sue worked with us teaching and assisting in establishing tools we were able to continue to use. This experience provided me the skill sets and opportunity to transition into the full time Plant Manager position.
